Aoife agreed with that. If Merek was taller than her then she probably would have complained. It was easier for her to be taller because, in one way, it didn’t look as bad if she had to swoop in to help him out with something - it was always worse be saved by a smaller woman, the likes of Leilah and her height.
She had to laugh at him comment, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. Aoife didn’t seem half as bothered or awkward by the idea of ‘fucking his brains out’ in her niece’s room. It amused her - would have more so if it was Patience’s room but how anyone could bare to stay in there for too long was beyond her.
“Could be worse,” she shrugged, a grin still present on her lips. “It’s somewhere to strike off the list. A bit adventurous of us of course.” A peck to his lips then. ”Well, we don’t have much of an option. It will have to be out of sight for one…”
She felt his hand slip under the waistband of her trousers and give her backside a squeeze. It made her a little more eager to find somewhere for this to occur. The floor in Verity’s room was carpet, so it’d be soft, but she wasn’t sure what they could use as a blanket after, especially with her room being spotless.
“Well we could just go under her bed…” she shrugged. “We’d be out of sight. As for a blanket….not sure..”
Sibyl finished her business by the fire and returned to her seat, sitting with a very good posture, straight back, hands on her lap and her feet sightly to the side. She sat so still she could have been a statue, the only thing moving being her lips until she nodded her head.
“Oh yes,” Sibyl repeated, “A check-up. Nothing too major. Some blood tests and some…samples of other bodily fluids. Oh, it will do good. We always like to have your kind checked over, just in-case there is any issue! Believe it or not, we do take the health of your kind seriously and into consideration on many decisions.”
In a way it was true, but it was not deemed a pleasant business. This included separating out humans for different purposes based on their health and their age, not exactly because they were concerned of their well-being as a whole. Humans were nothing more than a constant blood supply that needed to be maintained.
“You see, I don’t mean to brag but, I have connections in the inner circle,” Sibyl shrugged her shoulders, reaching for her own cup again and sipping it in a ladylike manner. “I know the right people and in essence, I can get what I want, not that it makes me ask for it. I am in the business of noticing potential as such. Of course I did not come across you personally today, but I am curious as to many of those that interact with my children,” again she used such a term which included Emmy. “Training is not an issue, I assure you. You are intelligent enough to follow orders, you proved it today. But as I said, it is too late to consider. You must sleep on it. In the morning I can provide you with a pack of information, typically given out - I work quickly.”
She smiled all the same, genuinely very good-natured, but mostly she was in a good mood. She believed, well hoped, she had just found herself the perfect match for her daughter. All the others had been too old, they hadn’t fit. Sibyl, being an expert breeder knew when pairs matched. She was sure she had it right.
“You’re welcome.”
As if on cue, Emmy entered the room. She refused to look at Fiachra and stood by the door, quite white in colour and a noticeable bruised wound on her neck.
“Ah, there you are, sweetheart!” Sibyl didn’t seem so concerned. “This gentleman shall be staying the evening. Please take him to the guest room, let him get settled.”
Emmy forced a smile and then stepped half way out the door.
“This way.”
He was eager, she’d give him that; the poor bastard wanted her and she was more than happy to oblige, even if she saw this as a means of keeping him happy, therefore onside and working with her rather than against her. It was clearly working now he’d taken Brigitte. All she had to do was comfort him, show him some love and her body provided that easily. Quick and easy.
They were half-dressed now, not bothering to remove all clothing as this was a quickie. He didn’t seem to bothered about that either. The warmth of his hands on her cool skin was very pleasant and she enjoyed that no end, something she would never grown to hate.
“Then take me…” she encouraged, her hand to his neck, reaching down the best she could to tug at his pants. “Come on..” she sounded as if she wanted it as much as him, her breath ragged then as she moved to tug down her own underwear.
Aoife blushed.
“Sorry,” she murmured. She could be quite eloquent if she tried but she usually ruined it after a little while. “Maybe I should have those lessons too..” she laughed then, not exactly meaning it. Leilah was a very good teacher but she was a perfectionist and she drove the girls, and Aoife, to the limit. “I will try, I promise.”
She didn’t entirely released the pressure she put on him physically as she rolled atop him. She had assumed she had propped herself up slightly to take the weight off but that didn’t seem to be the case. She was unaware at this moment.
“Mm, then I am ever so happy to please,” she smiled simply, kissing him gently. It was nice to hear him say such things. With such low confidence in the recent months, the day had been a boost for her despite the incident and being shrunk to the size of dolls. It seemed the couple got along very well indeed when they weren’t arguing. “You’re just saying that..” but she blushed, feeling better about herself. “Well I think you’re perfectly fine the way you are, even if you are smaller than me,” she laughed. “I guess it’s just better that I’m your ‘little’ Amazon. I don’t know how I’d feel with you being bigger now!”
She nodded in agreement to being in the mood and also not doing as such in her niece’s bed. Half of her didn’t care because it would be hilarious to tell the bitch and watch the horror on her face, but she didn’t care to say as such aloud. She moved so he could sit up and sat at the edge of the bed.
“The first issue is getting down..”
But she managed to solve this by using the duvet, as they had done that morning in Patience’s room.
Aodh was lucky she was good-humoured, a more ‘modern-thinking’ creature than her older counterparts, those who would have forced this straight away with coercive methods, or would have simply told him he would be doing as was desired of him by the superior. She was speaking in a manner that suggested he had, yet didn’t have the choice.
“Maybe not exactly from mortal bloods quite like yourself, but from those of my stature who are not as…” she seemed to have to think about how to put this. It was comical seeing her paused in such thought. But she found the word she was looking for soon enough. “..gracious and merciful as I. My pleasure does not exactly lie in the killing of your kind. I enjoy my simple pleasure: the water. I search the land for a perfect area in which I can enjoy myself.”
Of course she was not exclusively a merciful creature for she had killed and she did feed from human flesh. She was beginning to grow weary with his opposition and the arguments that he put forward. She was certainly his best hope of survival, or so she thought.
“Well how wonderful then,” she said as he agreed, not that he’d had any choice in the matter. She dipped her fingers into the water, causing immense ripples. His voiced fear caused her to laugh louder than she had previously, so much so that she was nearly in tears. She wiped the moisture from her eyes, shaking her head.
“No, little cimice,” she grinned. “I am not keeping you for sustenance. I told you, we shall find food along the way. My diet is a little more varied than debilis vermes, I assure you. I prefer seafood - so cliché, but I do.”
“You would not be enough to sate me as a little snack so there is no point in me using you for such,” Ashe mused, a rather unsettling thought if that was the only apparent reason he was to live! There was the presence of humour in her voice which suggested she was only teasing and her violet eyes did twinkle in a way that was soon becoming quite familiar. She did tease. She was nothing but a young girl, not yet filled with the sincerity of the world. “So I do suppose you are most welcome.”
A sly smile there as she let nothing away. She was terribly cryptic, something which no doubt unsettled the human more - if such was possible! In reality she had no idea where she was headed, but he did not need to know that. It was better to keep the mortal on his toes, unaware. No-one knew their own destiny, no-one was entirely in control of it, not even the mighty creatures that ruled the remains of a once prosperous earth.
“Along the way,” she merely repeated and with that she helped herself to more water to drink, supping heavily with a thirst that should have drank the pool dry, yet it remained constant. “We have a journey ahead of us, little one, but at least we are not taking the lonesome path.”
His question amused her just a little. The goddess desired nothing quite yet. She thought on it, but nothing sprung to mind entirely and with nothing quite yet, she simply spoke, “In good time, little Aodh, in good time.”
Aoife was glad he agreed with that. Sometimes it seemed like they really did not have enough time together and that had been shown recently. All Aoife wanted was to spend time with her husband, to get things to some sort of normality. Of course, as the kind of family they were, they could not have a normal life in the universal sense.
“I definitely think, after this, we do deserve some time away and Patience has a lot of making up to do,” she murmured. “So much unpaid babysitting I think..”
She looked up to him for a moment as he spoke suddenly. In all honesty, she had forgotten about it. A shrug of her shoulders followed. She could understand why he felt that way. Most men of her own kind had a thing about her height, finding it strange and she even intimidated some.
“It’s fine, they don’t make Barbies over six foot,” she laughed awkwardly. “Girls are not supposed to be this tall. I mean Delepitorae is the tallest of my aunts actually. No - Haures is. Yeah, five foot eleven and Delly is one inch shorter, then Lile, five nine, Na’amah five-six. I’m quite an anomaly Taller than my father too. I do hate it. So don’t feel insignificant. I bet it’s not nice being stood next to me.”
A pause then and she sat up, pursing her lips.
“Where would you prefer to move to?”
Helena offered a slight apology for hurting him, knowing he was sensitive from Marianne Dupont’s rather thorough attentions. Her hand rested on his thigh. It was strange, almost like a role change, but neither seemed to care, rather enjoying the moment together.
The kiss begun again, deepening after a few moments. Her lips parted as her breast was groped and then his hand moved down, squeezing her thigh. This groping and caressing continued after he had taken off his jacket and his hat. She undid her blouse, unbuttoning it quickly and throwing it aside. She lay back upon the bed and pulled him down with her again, one leg trailing against his.
“Kochanie..” she whispered back before the kiss resumed again, her hands moving to undo his shirt then. She could almost still smell Brigitte on him, a scent that had swiftly become tainted as her virginity was lost. That drove her on, and brought back that amusement. She smiled faintly against his lips, though he would not have picked up on the reason why.
Once his shirt was lost, she reached down on herself and hitched up her skirt for better ease of access.
Helena had trained him well. He desired her, more than anything, and now he was meek with the opportunity presented before him as if quite reluctant now with the fading of his bravado. He came before her, on his knees. He was so terribly conditioned now and she could have asked him to do almost anything and he would comply just to remain in her good books. It was cruel of her to use him so, but she was doing what she deemed unconditionally necessary.
Her legs parted slightly so he could move closer to her and she then stroked his hair as his head placed upon her lap. She brushed his hair from his face and leaned down slightly to look at him. Her smile was clear.
“I missed you too…” she spoke softly, gently moving his face up slightly so she could kiss him again. “But we have this moment now, even if it will be brief. My Liam, my sweet Liam…” her lips to his again as she pulled him up slightly to take place over her.
“So much,” Aoife groaned then. “I feel I must threaten her with Leilah’s etiquette lessons once more. I mean, Char benefited ..” she trailed off, there was no point going down that route again. Talking about Charity usual didn’t go well and ended in arguments.
The sound of a weekend away in a hotel room was enough to perk her up again and she gave him a gentle kiss in return. “That sounds so wonderful. We are definitely owed it after this and Patience does need to pull the finger out!”
She giggled as he nipped at her neck and she trailed her arms around his neck, rolling onto him. She placed a kiss to his forehead then.
“I like how my rack is the first thing you mention..” she pecked him then. “But I am glad my body pleases you. You are the only man I need to please.” She kissed him again gently before adding. “Six two and a half actually,” she poked out her tongue. “Maybe you can check them out again….I don’t know. We do have time…” she suggested.”If we move out of sight…”
